Florida Wedding in February

Thanks to Bridget and Drew, we had the priviledge of photographing their beautiful destination wedding on the Gulf Coast this February. From the ocean-view ceremony to the beach themed details, this wedding was a treat for all of their guests to enjoy. They mixed their wedding event with vacation and comfort. Of course, as you can tell by their images, the weather was excellent and the whole day was a Minnesota photographer's delight. Bridget and Drew's personalities and beauty were the perfect match to their Florida beach wedding. We had looked forward to capturing their wedding event all winter and their day was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The "icing on the cake" to their "get-away" wedding was their reception dinner cruise on the Solaris in Destin, Florida. The Solaris cruise ship took the guests and wedding party on a 3-hour night cruise. The captian of the ship even let the newlyweds drive the ship!
Thank you Bridget & Drew for the great memories!Tuesday, July 20, 2010
Love Birds

Recently we photographed this fun-loving, stylish couple on a gorgeous summer evening in Rochester, MN. Our "love birds", Jennifer & Russell, were full of energy and emotion throughout their entire session. Their session became an outdoor adventure as we hiked and climbed to many different locations. The extra hiking gave us an excellent opportunity to find out more about this lovely couple and discover their real beauty. From the story of their first date to their passion for similar interests, Jennifer & Russell were meant for each other. Our images only show a glimpse of all the fun and excitement that we had at their engagement session. Thanks J&R! We look forward to capturing your wedding story!

True Minnesotans
This courageous couple decided to capture their engagement session during our fantastic winter season we have been enjoying... well, maybe not everybody has been enjoying this winter weather :) However, Stacey and Eric braved the cold and "warmed-up" to their own idea of even jumping into the snow for a snow-angel shot. They then decided to wrap up their beautiful snow session with a snow fight that left them both frosted in snow. By the end, we had so much fun, I think we all forgot how cold it really was! Thank you Stacey and Eric! We look forward to photographing their wedding later this July.

North Shore Wedding
Although we truly enjoy each and every wedding we photograph, Kristin and Jason's wedding this August was one of hour highlight weddings this year. Beyond the beauty of an outdoor ceremony on the shore of Lake Superior, Jason and Kristin perfectly planned a day that gave much personal attention to the comfort of their guests' and their photographers (that's us).As we checked into Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors, MN the night before their
wedding, we were greeted at our room door with a personal note and flowers from the soon-to-be-wed couple. From the day they had met with us at their consultation, we were confident that their wedding day would be a joy and privilege to photograph. However, it wasn't until their actual wedding event, that we began to realize just how unique, creative, and personal their wedding would be. These images are just a few of our favorites from that gorgeous
getaway weekend and reveals just a glimpse of how much thought and preparation this adventuresome couple invested into "their day".Thank you Kristin and Jason for the memories.

We've been featured again!!
Ok... so we get a little excited whenever our photography is featured in popular websites and blogs. This time one of our wedding images was featured on this fantastic wedding blog: http://ritzybee.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/04/u-is-for-umbrella.html
Our image (#4) is the one with the bride and four ladies in dark brown walking away holding five light green, brown, and white umbrellas.

Only 20 more days!

Another fabulous engagement session! Nathan & Melanie's wedding is only 20 days away! As with all of our future weddings... we look forward to each one as it brings its own uniqueness and fresh artistic options for us to enjoy!
Thanks to these two, we captured some very natural (and a few candid!) expressions with their outdoor engagement session in Minneapolis just a few weeks ago. The photojournalistic and contemporary style of their images blended perfectly with their choice of session location and clothing.

Most Popular Guest Book
Everybody loves our new Guest Signature Books. Ever since these books have been available this past year, they have been a big hit. These books have recieved many compliments from guests at our weddings.Guest Signature Books include the bride and groom's favorite 12 images from their engagement session. The book is also hard covered to make it an excellent, durable keepsake from their memorable day.
In comparison to so many products that are enjoyed on the wedding day and never used again, portraits are one of the few things a couple can actually enjoy over and over again after the wedding day.
